After an epic successful season of Masaba Masaba starring Neena Gupta and Masaba Gupta, the makers are coming out with the second season, and the shooting for the same is complete.
'Masaba Masaba' is a dramatized and fictionalised show, which chronicles the life of fashion designer Masaba Gupta, daughter of veteran actor Neena Gupta, it follows her unique background, diverse worlds she straddles across fashion and family, and her foray back into the dating world.
Masaba Gupta took to her social media profile and dropped a video post, confirming the wrap-up. She captioned it, “42 days. Lots of laughs, tears, anxieties, pure happiness, deep tiredness later it’s a wrap on season 2. Three cheers to the incredible cast, crew (Dr.K) and everyone who was a part of this! The series is helmed by Sonam Nair, the first season of the show, which debuted in August 2020 on Netflix, had received favourable reviews from the critics as well as the audiences.
The first season also features some of the most noted and popular celebrities for whom Masaba has designed clothes, such as Kiara Advani, Farah Khan, Gajraj Rao, Mithila Palkar, Shibani Dandekar, Dara Sandhu and Malavika Mohanan.
The series is bankrolled by Vineyard Films, the season 2 will be back soon to make everyone laugh, cry and relate.
