Kshitij Chauhan is the new kid in the block and he has got all the eyes rolling with his acting process. He is a musician and his passion for acting is relentless. He started his career as a theatre actor and his initial training with NSD actors and trainers was a huge help. Kshitij has been getting in great reviews for his character in Chutzpah and he is known more for his acting than his boyish charm. There is a thing with casting experience for actors that brings out the best in them. Be it Abhishek Banerjee or Siddhant Chaturvedi, they have all benefited from their casting days experience.
We spoke to Kshitij and he bares it all for us, "I didn't want to get typecast and I wish to be known for my acting abilities. It's easy to be stereotyped initially especially with a pin-up or something like that and that is exactly what I don't want. I want to do all kinds of roles. I look forward to reading and analyzing new scripts. It's one of those things that as a Theatre actor I understood at a very young age. One doesn't make a great actor overnight and it takes a body of work for that. It's just the initial days for me. And there is so much to explore. One day at a time and let's see how the journey goes."
Those are some wise words from a youngster. There is huge potential in him and we are waiting to see some incredible work of his.
