Known for slice of life dramas such as Panga, Nil Battey Sannata, and Bareilly ki Barfi, filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari announces her digital debut. The filmmaker will bring a new web series, Faadu on SonyLiv.
Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari took to her social media profile and dropped a picture of the script and wrote, “New Beginnings. #gratitude #makeyourownpath #movielovers #mindfulliving @sonylivindia”
Faadu is set to be a unique, intense poetic love-story between two different thinking characters. It is produced by Studio Next. Rest of the details about the project are still undisclosed.
Apart from Faadu, Ashwiny is working on an upcoming biopic based on the Infosys co-founder NR Narayana Murthy and his author wife Sudha Murthy. The filmmaker recently released her book, titled Mapping Love.
Ashwiny is also collaborating with her husband Nitesh Tiwari for Breakpoint, a mini-series based on the lives and struggle of Indian Tennis stars - Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupati. The series will stream on ZEE5.
