Bollywood dance choreographer Vivek Dadhich has worked with many proficient personalities. On being asked about his journey to the industry, Vivek says, "I was born in a middle class Brahmin family in Bhilwara district of Rajasthan. My father used to work in a private company as a commercial officer, now he is retired and is a social worker. My mother, on the other hand, is a happy housewife and she loves dancing. I think that's where I got my passion and interest for dancing kicking in at a young age. I have completed my schooling from Bhilwara itself and later on, I moved to Mumbai to complete my graduation in Commerce. I have also cleared the ICSI (The Institute of Company Secretaries of India) course. The transition from an academic background to a creative field like dancing, wasn't a cakewalk."
Adding to the same, he says, "I have had my share of ups and downs, but the one thing that has always remained intact is my love for dancing. Since a very young age, my fondness for dancing compelled me to participate in dance competitions in my school and college days. I have turned into a choreographer for many of my family functions during my childhood. One day, while I was interning with a CA firm, I decided to quit and follow my dreams of becoming a dancer professionally."
Lastly, he encourages people to follow their dreams by saying, "The easiest yet the most difficult thing is believing in yourself. We should never stop learning because when we learn, we are creating more probabilities for ourselves to grow as a person. Do what makes your soul happy."
