Superstar Akshay Kumar praises Ajay Devgn and lyricist Manoj Muntashir for the collaborative Sipahi.
A day after Kargil Vijay Diwas 2021, Ajay Devgn has released a special video titled Sipahi, in which he could be seen reciting a beautiful poem saluting the Indian soldiers. The actor dropped the video on his social media, he captioned it, “A heartfelt tribute to the Indian brave hearts! #Sipahi”
The poem is written by Manoj Muntashir and it’s been narrated by Ajay Devgn. The narration is quite moving and beautiful, which needless to say had Akshay Kumar emotional.
Akshay Kumar took to his social media and wrote, “I’m not very expressive when it comes to emotions in real life. But this got me in tears. @ajaydevgn, I didn’t know you have a brilliant poet in you. Kis Kis baat pe dil jeetoge yaar? Just got to know that the words of the very moving poem are by the amazingly talented @manojmuntashir. Narrated by @ajaydevgn”
Ajay Devgn replied to Akshay Kumar stating he appreciate his compliment. He wrote, “Thank you Akki @akshaykumar for the nicest words on my ‘poetic’ side. The praise feels good especially when it comes from a friend & esteemed colleague. I also need to thank @manojmuntashir for the poetry —Sipahi”
Interestingly, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn will soon be seen in Rohit Shetty’s directorial Sooryavanshi.
The film is the fourth installment of Shetty's Cop Universe and stars Akshay Kumar as Anti-Terrorism Squad chief DCP Veer Sooryavanshi opposite Katrina Kaif with Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh in extended cameo appearances reprise their roles of Singham and Simmba from the franchise's previous films.
