Arya starrer period sports drama Sarpatta released with a bang digitally today, and now actor’s wife Sayyeshaa is nothing but proud and inspired by her husband’s hard work and stunning portrayal.
Directed and co-produced by Pa. Ranjith, Sarpatta is set during the 1980s, the film revolves around a clash between two clans namely Idiyappa Parambarai and Sarpatta Parambarai in North Chennai, which also showcases the boxing culture in the locality and also the politics being involved in it. The film also stars Dushara Vijayan, Pasupathy, Anupama Kumar and Sanchana Natarajan.
Actress Sayyeshaa took to her social media and wrote, “#Sarpatta is out now! I have witnessed @arya_off’s hard work and diligence every day, and it is inspiring! This role was made for him! I couldn’t be more proud than I am today! @beemji sir is at his best, making each moment and character so memorable! Amazing work by the team!”
Meanwhile on the work front, Sayyeshaa was recently seen in Teddy, with her husband Arya. The movie, written and directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan, revolved around a teddy bear, marking first ever Tamil film to use an Indian animation company to design a special animated character and motion-capture.
She was also part of Yuvarathnaa, starring Puneeth Rajkumar in the lead role.
