Keeping with the theme of the movie, Sidharth Malhotra has been dropping a new poster from his forthcoming biopic-war drama Shershaah. Based on life of real-life hero, Vikram Batra, the actor has introduced Dream, Promise and Mission of Param Veer Chakra awardee and now unveils a new poster, which highlights his Sacrifice.
Vishnuvardhan directorial traces the life journey of army captain Vikram Batra, also starring Kiara Advani in the lead role.

Sidharth Malhotra will be seen playing double role in the movie, as Batra and his identical twin brother Vishal; Kiara Advani plays the role of Dimple Cheema.
Vikram died on July 7, 1999, as his Delta Company recaptured Point 5140 before overrunning enemy posts at Point 4750 and Point 4875. He had engaged three enemy soldiers in combat before he was killed by enemy fire.
The film also stars Shiv Pandit, Nikitin Dheer, Himmanshoo A. Malhotra, Anil Charanjeett, Sahil Vaid, Raj Arjun, Manmeet Kaur, Ankita Goraya, Rakesh Dubey, Pranay Singh Pachauri, Pawan Chopra, Mir Sarwar and Shataf Figar.
The film is scheduled to release on 12 August 2021 on Amazon Prime Video.
