Actor Aamir Rafiq, who has been a part of various TV shows like Parmavtar Krishna and Jhansi Ki Rani, has recently gotten a chance to feature on a cover picture with Akshay Kumar for a food brand.
On being asked about his experience of working with Akshay Kumar for the brand, Aamir says, "It was a huge opportunity to have gotten a chance to work alongside Akshay Kumar in these hard times. Now when many actors have become unemployed because the projects they had been a part of, are either on hold or have been scrapped due to the pandemic, an opportunity to feature on a cover picture with a great actor like Akshay Kumar is something I am very grateful for. I had an amazing time on the set. The surreal experience is worth remembering. He is a very senior and an experienced actor. I got to learn a lot from him."
Adding to the same, he says, "The shoot took place after the restrictions have been relaxed. The situation was devastating, but because of the lockdown being imposed on time, it is under control now. We were shooting amidst this chaos while keeping all the precautions and the current scenario in mind. All of the crew members on the set were compelled to wear masks and maintain social distancing protocols all the time."
Lastly, when asked about how he had spent his time during the lockdown, Aamir says, "I was able to focus on myself. It was a great time to rejuvenate and make my craft and skills polished. Taking care of myself and my family members is extremely important as this is a very crucial time to deal with. It is very important that we do our bit by staying at home and stepping out only when it is absolutely necessary."
