Veteran actor Paresh Rawal just took to his social media profile and dropped the confirmation on the trailer release of Hungama 2, the film will release directly on Disney+Hotstar.
The actor took to social media to announce the news. He tweeted, “Get ready for double the Hungama! #DisneyPlusHotstarMultiplex #Hungama2 Trailer out on July 1st. @TheShilpaShetty @meezaanj @rajpalofficial @iamjohnylever @rajpalofficial @rtnjn @priyadarshandir @actormanojjoshi @sanchchat #Venus @DisneyplusHSVIP”
Trailer will be out on 1st July. The film also stars Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Meezaan Jafri and Pranitha Subash in lead roles.
Helmed by Priyadarshan, the film also stars Ashutosh Rana, Rajpal Yadav and Johny Lever. It is a successor to the director's 2003 hit, Hungama. The shooting of the film was wrapped up in February this year.
Hungama has developed a cult following over the years. The film is still loved by the fans of comedy films. The first instalment starred Paresh Rawal, Rimi Sen, Aftab Shivdasani and Akshaye Khanna in lead roles.
The Hungama 2 will mark Priyadarshan and Shilpa Shetty's return to Bollywood after a long hiatus.
