Veteran actor Anil Kapoor stepped out to celebrate World Environment Day 2021 and participated in a tree plantation campaign in Mumbai.
Doing his bit to create awareness about the importance of a clean and green environment, Anil Kapoor planted trees near his residence in Juhu.
Initiated by BMC with Make Earth Green Again MEGA Foundation and Vriksha, actor Anil Kapoor along with Saniya Saiyad, Ashnoor Kaur, Amit Behl, Dr. Aneel Kashi Murarka, Vishvas Mote, Anusha Srinivasan Iyer, Paramjeet Singh Ghai and Shaan Lalwani pledge to be tree guardians.
In the pictures, Anil can be planting a tree, after ploughing the ground. He was also seen watering the plants. This was a part of BMC's MEGA Vriksha Campaign, where Anil Kapoor became a parent to one of the plant-lings.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Anil Kapoor was last seen in Mohit Suri’s ‘Malang, which also starred Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani and Kunal Kemmu.
The veteran actor will be next seen in ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’, co-starring Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani. He also has Sandeep Reddy Vanga's ‘Animal’ with Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Parineeti Chopra in his kitty.
