Vishwak Sen’s Paagal is heading for a direct to digital release on Amazon Prime Video, say trusted sources close to the movie unit.
Vishwak has already completed dubbing for the film and the post-production work is being carried out at a brisk pace currently.
A minor patch-up sequence is left to be shot and it will be canned soon after the Telangana government permits films shootings. The makers are already in talks with Amazon Prime as they wish to sell off the digital rights of the film if they receive the right offer.
Paagal is billed to be a comedy caper with a unique plot. Vishwak has undergone a minor makeover for his role in the film.
Debutante Naresh Kuppili is directing the film which also stars Nivetha Pethuraj, Simran Chaudhary, Megha Lekha, and Murali Sharma. Dil Raju is funding the project.
