"Initially, my parents were not supportive of my decision to come into the showbiz industry." says, actress Eesha Agarwal who acted in films like Kahin Hai Mera Pyaar starring Jakie Shroff and Sanjay Kapoor, and the Tamil movie 'Thittivasal'.
Talking about her journey she says, "It was a roller coaster ride. First of all coming from a small town Latur, and having no connections here in the industry was a big ordeal, and to make the matters worse, my parents were not at all supportive of the decision. They wanted me to get married and settle down but I had my own plans. Soon when I started doing pageants and when I won the first pageant (Miss India Exquisite 2015), they finally approved of my decision."
About the struggle in the initial days, she says," Getting work was always an ordeal. After winning so many pageants I was sure I will get good works but things didn't turn out in my favor. It wasn't easy. I got offers but many a time, people were looking for a face which is very popular or some other requirements of the project which didn't materialize. As I had no connections so the only choice was to work every day, find auditions, and improve my craft. I am doing all of it till now and I am still waiting for that breakthrough."
Further talking about the current projects that she is doing, she says, "I am focussing more on the Marathi industry now as I am getting a good variety of projects. I have one Marathi movie Zol Zaal lined up for release. But the release got delayed because of the lockdown. I hope everything becomes normal soon and the industry also flourishes.
