Priyanka Chopra along with her singer husband Nick Jonas has raised USD 1 million in order to help more people tackle the health crisis. And now shares the list of items the duo plans to buy with raised money and plans to accelerate it to 3 million.
The couple, Priyanka and Nick, recently announced a fundraiser in association with Give India and raised a whopping USD 1 million and plans to raise another 3 Million.
Priyanka Chopra took to her social media and shared series of picture messages with items’ that been procured with the help of funds. She captioned it, “We’re making a big impact with the funds we’ve collected so far...let's continue to do more #TogetherForIndia @GiveIndia”
With the funds, 500 oxygen concentrators, 422 oxygen cylinders has been procured, in addition, enough money to hire manpower to vaccinate 6000 people with 2months. The couple also thanked each and everyone who donated and raised the fundraiser to 3 Million.
Apart from Priyanka Chopra, several celebrities are doing their bit amid the pandemic. Amitabh Bachchan recently helped set up a Covid-19 care centre in Mumbai with 25 bed-capacity and oxygen availability in Mumbai.
Meanwhile on the work front, Chopra will next star in movies such as Text for You and Matrix, along with thriller series Citadel.
