Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh are paired for the first time in a family entertainer Sardar Ka Grandson, and the duo just dropped a quirky and funny video, trying different names to kick-starts a hashtag, and apparently they have settled on RAKUUN.
Actor Arjun Kapoor just took to his social media and dropped the promotional video. He captioned it, “#RAKUUN…Humko lagta hai ki hum #RAKUUN hai! Apko kya lagta hai? Video dekhiye aur Bataiye! Something we shot when promotions weren’t about being virtual. @rakulpreet sending you virtual hugs”
In the video, Arjun Kapoor starts the conversation by claiming that Rakul Preet’s dream of working with him as come true and then starts discussing possible hastag, which is a combination of their respective names.
The film also stars Neena Gupta, Soni Razdan and Divya Seth in the pivotal roles.
The film revolves around Neena Gupta who wants to see her ancestral home in Pakistan. She wants her grandson to take her there. Arjun, who is essaying the role of grandson, decides to fulfill his grandmother’s wish. He gives all his efforts but is denied a visa. However, he then decides to bring the ancestral home to Amritsar.
The film will be releasing on May 18, 2021 on Netflix.
