India has reported over 3.86 lakh new Covid cases in the past 24 hours and this is the highest single-day tally since the onset of the pandemic.
Top film stars have already called off shoots and are relaxing in their private farmhouses and residences.
Young actor, Nikhil has also called off shootings momentarily. He imposed a self lockdown along with his wife Pallavi who is a doctor. He pledged not to step out unless an emergency and urged everyone to stay indoors as well.
Nikhil says it is everyone’s responsibility to act civilised in these testing times and in turn reduce the burden on tiring doctors by staying away from the risk of Covid contraction.
Nikhil put his ongoing projects 18 Pages and Karthikeya 2 on hold. He will be getting back to work only after normalcy is restored.
