Actor Pooja Hegde took to her social media and informed that she has tested positive for COVID-19 and will remain under home quarantine.
Pooja issued a statement confirming her infection and also added that she is home quarantined and following proper protocol.
The statement read, “Hello everyone. This is to inform you all that I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols I have isolated and home quarantined myself. I request all those who have come in contact with me recently to get tested too. Thank you for your love and support I am currently recuperating well. Please stay home, stay safe and take care"
The second wave of coronavirus has infected many people, and the number of COVID-19 positive cases has been rapidly rising. In Bollywood, an array of celebrities have got infected within a span of a few weeks.
Meanwhile on the work front, Pooja has an interesting line-up of projects in the pipeline which includes Cirkus, Acharya and Radhe Shyam.
Cirkus pairs Pooja and Ranveer Singh for the first time in Rohit Shetty directorial drama. The film is produced by Reliance Entertainment, T-Series and Rohit Shetty Picturez.
The film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar and Murli Sharma. It is the official adaptation of the 1982 movie Angoor which was based on William Shakespeare's play The Comedy of Errors.
