After featuring in super-hit video, Patli Kamariya, Mouni Roy will be seen sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Nagarjuna and Alia Bhatt in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, says it’s like a dream you’d never thought would come true, has come true.
Brahmāstra: Part One of Three, is a forthcoming fantasy action adventure film written and directed by Ayan Mukerji, and produced by Karan Johar. It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles and will serve as the first film in a planned trilogy.
Talking about working with such a talented ensemble, Mouni said, “Ayan Mukerji is a brilliant mind. He is all heart and I think he has given this project his life. If I remember it right, he told me that he has been working on this project for almost 7-8 odd years now. He is a god’s child; he is god’s most favourite children, for sure”
Further adding, Mouni said, “Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are fire on-screen and they are beautiful human-beings on sets. So I think I feel very lucky with Brahmastra, as I got to work with Nagarjuna, and obviously Amitabh Bachchan, he is the greatest. I cannot forget the day I met Shah Rukh Khan, so it’s like a dream you’d never thought would come true, has come true”
The film is scheduled for release in standard formats, 3D, and IMAX. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
