Gearing up for her new Netflix release, Sardar Ka Grandson, co-starring Arjun Kapoor, Rakul is busy living life on her terms and now graces the cover spread of leading style and fashion magazine Elle for entire month of March.

On the work front, Rakul has lined-up series of releases across different languages. She is part of S. Shankar's vigilante-action film Indian 2 and the science fiction film Ayalaan opposite Sivakarthikeyan.
She has five upcoming Hindi films, starting with Kaashvie Nair's border romance Sardar Ka Grandson opposite Arjun Kapoor and secondly along with John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez in Lakshya Raj Anand's directorial debut, the actioner Attack.
She is essaying role of a pilot with Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan in Devgn's own directorial Mayday, her third upcoming Hindi film. It will be followed by Indra Kumar's slice-of-life comedy Thank God co-featuring Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra, and Anubhuti Kashyap's Doctor G in which she is paired opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. She has been additionally filming an untitled Telugu movie directed by Krish alongside Panjaa Vaisshnav Tej.
