The makers of KGF 2 are said to be valuing the overseas distribution rights of the film at Rs 80 crores. They are quoting the same amount to distribution houses which have approached them thus far. They are yet to strike a deal though.
No other Indian film managed to bag such a massive deal for overseas rights. The current highest deal stands with RRR as reports claim that the overseas distribution rights of the Rajamouli directorial fetched Rs 70 crores.
The producers of KGF 2 are presently focusing on finalizing the theatrical business of the film. They are in talks with multiple distribution houses and hoping to finalize the theatrical business in the next two months.
KGF 2 is slated for worldwide theatrical release on 16th of July. It is carrying humongous expectations and buzz.
