Vijay Sethupathi Unveils Aelay Trailer

After a long delay, the makers finally unveils a heart-warming and visually stunning trailer of Aelay, starring Samuthirakani, Manikandan.K and Madhumathi.

 

Master actor Vijay Sethupathi shared the trailer on his social media profile. He tweeted, “Dir @halithashameem #Aelay Trailer is so heartwarming. My favourite @PushkarGayatri’s first production. The directorial debut of Halitha Shameem, the trailer chronicles a doting father and how he carries a cool attitude with his kids. The trailer takes us through the life of the father and his kids and it is expected that the film will narrate a heart-warming family entertainer.

The film is set in a rural background. It narrates the story of a father-son duo. Actor Samuthirakani plays the father, Manikandan K of Kaala fame plays the son.

The film’s release was initially planned to be released on August 27, 2020. However, it did not happen owing to the pandemic situation.

The film releases on 12th February 2021.
