Ram's Red and Bellamkonda Srinivas's Alludu Adhurs will be hitting the silver screens tomorrow and these two films will be directly locking horns at the box office.
While Red is witnessing very good advance bookings, Alludu Adhurs is yet to pick up the pace and is registering okayish bookings.
That said, Red is a thriller which has a limited set of audience, while Alludu Adhurs is a commercial comedy caper, a genre which has historically proven to be a successful one during the Sankranthi season. If the latter manages to get a good response on its opening day, it might gain some momentum going forward.
As of now, 60-65% of theatres screening Red are in fast filling stage and 30-35% of theatres screening Alludu Adhurs have reached fast filling stage.
