Vijay's Master is the second big film to hit the silver screens in the Telugu states after Ravi Teja's Krack and it is registering some excellent advance bookings.
Majority of the multiplexes which will be screening Master are in fast filling stage presently and quite a few shows are expected to be sold out by tonight.
Vijay has gained a market for himself in the Telugu states with films like Thupakki, Katthi, and Whistle. This is very much evident in the case of advance bookings for Master.
Master is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj's who's previous films, Khaithi was a big hit in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This could be another reason behind the buzz around Master.
Malavika Mohanan plays female lead in the film and Vijay will be seen as a college professor.
