Actor Abhishek Bachchan had quite an eventful year of 2020 due to several reasons. The ‘Drona’ actor shared a video for his fans on social media on Friday and wished them happier, safer and better year 2021.
Sharing a video on his Instagram handle which included several important moments of his life in 2020, Abhishek wrote, “2020 A year with so much to cherish, learn & remember... One can try to put it in a video but what stays with me is that unsaid power to do more. Here's wishing everyone a Happier, Safer & better New Year #HappyNewYear2021”.
In the video, he amalgamated a few pictures which were one of the important moments of his life in year 2020. In last year, he started shooting for his most awaited film ‘Bob Biswas’. Abhishek made his Hindi film debut with J.P. Dutta’s ‘Refugee’ which released in year 2000, so he completed 20 years in Hind film industry in 2020. He also made his digital debut with Amazon Prime Videos web series ‘Breathe: Into the Shadows’ which also starred Amit Sadh and Saiyami Kher.
In the second half of 2020, Abhishek successfully recovered from Covid-19 along with his father Amitabh Bachchan, wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. He was also a part of Netflix film ‘Ludo’ which was appreciated by the audience. Junior Bachchan owns a Kabbadi team named Jaipur Pink Panthers in Pro Kabbadi Legaue and its documentary series named ‘Sons of the Soil: Jaipur Pink Panthers’ released on Amazon Prime Videos, so all these moments he captured in his latest social media post.
On film front, Abhishek will next be seen in biographical crime film named ‘The Big Bull’ along with Ileana D’Cruz, Nikita Dutt and Sohum Shah which is produced by Ajay Devgn and directed by Kookie Gulati.
He will also play a titular role in Diya Annapurna Ghosh’s crime thriller film ‘Bob Biswas’ along with Chitrangda Singh, Tina Desai and Purab Kohli.
It serves as a spin-off to Vidya Balan starrer suspense thriller film ‘Kahaani’ and it is being produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s productions house Red Chillies Entertainment.
