Actor Sahil Anand who is playing the role of a novelist in a web series titled ‘Missing Chapter’ has said that he will start shooting for his upcoming project from the month January in next year. He added saying that his show is edge-of-the seat thriller which will release in March.
Sahil Anand was interacting with News Helpline to promote ‘Missing Chapter’ on Wednesday in Mumbai.
Talking about the release of the show, Sahil said, “Due to Covid-19, we are taking personal workshops, so we will start shooting for it from January 10. It’s a one month shoot and probably in March, it will release on one of the top OTT platforms.”
Talking about his character in the show, Sahil said, “I am playing the character of Novelist in the show. He writes some chapters that are linked with the story of this show. I can assure you that when you (the audience) watch it, you will feel that we didn’t expect this at all. Nowadays, there are a lot stories are being made on serial killers and in thriller genre, so I also felt that it will be the same mediocre stuff but this show is so interesting that you will be on your toes and you will always think that what’s going to happen next because scripting of the show is really interesting.”
Sahil was last seen on screen in ‘Student of the Year 2’ which released in 2019, when asked Sahil why he took a long gap from his work, he said, “I did a web series called ‘Banned’ and it was a commercial hit, so I was in search of such story or a web series which will go beyond it. As an actor, you always feel that when you are a part of something good then you feel like doing well in your upcoming projects too and I think that’s the reason I took so much time. When makers of this web series approached me then I really liked its concept and my character in it, so I grabbed that opportunity.”
He added that ‘Missing Chapter’ will be shot in real space and in real locations, he said, “I want to break the clutter because I feel that you have to keep climbing up the ladder. I want ‘Missing Chapter’ to do better than ‘Banned’, so if I want to do that then I have to forget about what I have done in the past. I think this is the best thing for me at the moment. The team of this project is really young and energetic and we are going to shoot this web series in a real space. There is a place called Mahua (could be Bihar) where we are shooting for it, so we are shooting at real locations as well”.
