Gurugram, Dec 18 (SocialNews.XYZ) A 28-year-old woman was crushed to death on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway on Thursday evening by an unknown vehicle while she was crossing the expressway, the police said on Friday.
The victim was rushed to the civil hospital where she died during the treatment.
The deceased identified as Monu, a resident of village Kukdaula, was working in a government department in Sohna.
According to the police, "The deceased reached Panchgaon Chowk in a cab and while crossing the expressway towards her village, she was crushed by an unknown vehicle. The driver fled from the spot leaving the woman critically injured."
"A case of negligence against an unknown has been registered on the complaint of Shri Bhagwan, uncle of the deceased, at Bilaspur police station. CCTV footage has been taken from the toll plaza to identify the vehicle driver," said Gurugram Police spokesperson Subhash Bokan.
