There has been a series of protests in Punjab regarding the bill passed by the government pertaining to MSP and other things, to which many celebrities reacted and even supported the farmers.
Adding to the support, Actor Aakash Talwar shares his views and says that farmers work day in and day out so that all of us have food to eat. When they stand and work in the scorching heat, chilly winds and even in rains then we should also lend our support to them. I strongly believe that farmers should be the top priority of any country.
According to the actor, It is because of the hard work of farmers that we are able to eat food 2 times a day. So seeing their plight is unbearable. As a human being, it shakes my will. I have tried to grab as much information about the issue and I feel that the only reason for this is the miscommunication between the Government and the farmers.
The only reason for the protest in my opinion is there has not been a proper ground where the officials and the farmers could have a peaceful talk. In my opinion if a proper decision is not taken then as time passes by, this wave of protests is likely to increase. I feel everyone has the right to fight for their rights so the farmers too are putting their foot down since the bill that has been passed does not seem beneficial to them. Since they feel their interest is overlooked, this has further opened a breeding ground for mistrust and errors.
Lastly I would say that the Government should look into the matter as soon as possible. Whatever the decision they take, it should be in the interest of the farmers and should ensure that a balance is maintained.
