Actor Sonu Sood is a man with a golden heart. The actor has received the award for selflessly helping stranded migrants during the coronavirus crisis by arranging food, buses, trains, and chartered flights for them and providing them job opportunities.
The Dabangg actor and vocational skill provider Schoolnet have formed a joint venture with an initial investment of Rs 250 crore to assist blue-collar workers with employment and skilling. Taking to his Instagram handle the Happy New Year actor shared the news.
Sonu wrote, “A beginning to change the life of millions. @pravasirojgar”
The technology platform aims to reach 10 crore, blue-collar workers, across the country by providing access to good jobs and career progression through up-skilling services, followed by financial, healthcare, and social security services.
About his upcoming work, Sonu will be seen in the movie ‘Prithviraj’. It is an upcoming Indian historical action drama film directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Aditya Chopra under his production house Yash Raj Films.
It is about the life of the Chahamana Rajput king Prithviraj Chauhan and stars Akshay Kumar in the titular role, while Manushi Chillar (in her film debut) plays his wife Sanyogita. It was scheduled to release in theatres in India on the occasion of Diwali in 2020 but the release has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
