Singer and actress Shirley Setia is very soon going to make her Bollywood debut but before her first Bollywood film releases, she has bagged another project. The actress will be seen in a Telugu film.
Film Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news on his social media and wrote, "SHIRLEY SETIA IN #TELUGU FILM...Singer-actress in a #Telugu film (not titled yet)...#Shirley makes her #Hindi film debut with #Nikamma...Directed by Aneesh Krishna...Shoot begins this Dec. Produced by Usha Mulpuri....#NS22"
The film will be Naga Shaurya's fourth production which has not been titled yet. Shirley will be starring opposite him in the film which is being directed by Aneesh Krishna and produced by Usha Mulpuri. Film will go on the floors next month.
Shirley is from Auckland and has been featured in the Forbes Magazine where she was referred to as 'Bollywood's Next Big Singing Sensation.' Her songs are big hit amongst the youth. She made her film debut with 'Maska' which released on Netflix in March 2020.
Soon, she is going to make her Bollywood debut with the film 'Nikamma' directed by Sabbir Khan. It is an action romantic comedy starring Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Abhimanyu Dassani alongside her. The team wrapped up the shoot for the film in the first week of November 2020.
