Actor Preity Zinta and Bobby Deol starrer action- thriller film ‘Soldier’ completed 22 years on Friday. On that occasion, Preity wrote a long note on social media and referred it as ‘super hot and cool movie’. She also shared memories related to the film while she was shooting for it along with her co-star Bobby Deol.
Sharing titled track of the film on her Instagram handle, Preity wrote, “Remembering Soldier my super Hot & super Cool movie. So many things to be grateful for. My warm clothes for starters. It was freezing cold & so windy when we were shooting. On the other side poor Bobby was feeling so cold and shivering I’m also grateful that my first feature as a lead had an unbelievable soundtrack Thank you @RameshTaurani #AbbasMustan and the entire cast and crew for the fun we had in Australia, New Zealand & Rajasthan. ‘Soldier’ is directed by Abbas-Mustan and produced by Kumar Taurani and Ramesh Taurani. The film was released in 1998 and was declared as a 'BlockBuster' by Box Office India, becoming the 3rd highest grossing film of the year in India.
On work front, Preity Zinta was last seen onscreen in ‘Bhaiaji Superhit’ (2018) along with Sunny Deol, Arshad Warsi, Ameesha Patel, and Shreyas Talpade.
Bobby Deol had total three releases in 2020 which includes his Netflix film ‘Class of '83’ and first and second season of MX Player’s web series ‘Aashram’.
Bobby Deol next will be seen onscreen in a crime thriller film ‘Love Hostel’ along with Sanya Malhotra and Vikrant Massey.
The film will be written and directed by Shanker Raman, a National Award-winning cinematographer who previously directed the acclaimed film ‘Gurgaon’. ‘Love Hostel’ is presented by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment along with Drishyam Films and is slated to go on floors early next year.
