Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 19 (SocialNews.XYZ) Kerala continued to report more recoveries than new daily coronavirus cases on Thursday as well, reporting 5,722 more infections.
State Health Minister KK Shailaja said 5,722 new cases were detected on testing of 67,017 samples in the past 24 hours. In all 6,860 more patients tested negative, taking the total recoveries in Kerala 4,75,320.
The day also saw 26 Covid deaths, taking the total death toll to 1,969.
Across the state, 3,18,025 persons are under observation, including 16,478 in hospitals. There area 565 hotspots in the southern state.
