Actress Janhvi Kapoor took to her social media to wish her father and film producer Boney Kapoor on his 65th birthday. She took to Instagram to share three pictures, and wrote in the caption, “Happy Birthday to the best. I love u” along with a heart emoji. The first picture shows a toddler Janhvi sitting on her father’s lap, as he cuts a birthday cake. The second picture shows the two of them in a plane, and the third shows Boney and his late wife, actor Sridevi, playing with a baby Janhvi.
Janhvi recently shared pictures and videos from her younger sister Khushi’s birthday celebrations last week. Alongside her birthday post for her sister, she wrote, “It’s ur bday will try not to annoy u today ly.”
Janhvi made her film debut with 2018 romantic drama film ‘Dhadak’. Her mother and veteran actress Sridevi died in February, just a few months before ‘Dhadak’s release. While she could not watch the entire film, producer of that film Karan Johar had shown her snippets of Janhvi’s work.
Boney Kapoor has produced film such as ‘Hum Paanch’, ‘Who Saat Din’, ‘Mr. India’, ‘Pukar’, ‘Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja’, ‘Company’, ‘Shakti’, ‘Run’, ‘Wanted’ and ‘Mom’ in his career.
Boney Kapoor is now producing upcoming Zee5’s web series ‘Zidd’ starring Amit Sadh, Amrita Puri and Sushant Singh in lead roles. He is also producing biographical sports film ‘Maidaan’ starring Ajay Devgn and Priyamani in central characters.
On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor was last seen onscreen in a Netflix ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’. She will next be seen in Hardik Mehta’s horror comedy film ‘Roohi Afzana’ opposite Rajkummar Rao.
Janhvi is also a part of Dharma Productions ‘Dostana 2’ which also features Kartik Aaryan and Laksh Lalwani in lead roles.
