Amaravati, Nov 9 (SocialNews.XYZ) Parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Yanam are expected to witness thunderstorms with lightning from Wednesday to Friday, the Met department said.

However, it did not predict any rainfall for Monday and Tuesday.

According to a Met official, a trough of low height at mean sea level is lying over south Bay of Bengal and the adjoining central part of the same sea.

Likewise, north-easterlies continue to prevail upon the southern state blowing winds.

Meanwhile, in the past 24 hours, some parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh have seen marked fall in temperature, a decline of 4.1-degree Celsius or lesser.

Contrastingly, some parts in Rayalaseema have also witnessed a rise in temperature between 2.1-degree Celsius to 4-degree Celsius.

Isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema saw light rainfall.

There is also a change in day time temperatures as they have started to fall slightly.

On Sunday, all monitored places recorded maximum temperatures below 33-degree Celsius.

Nandyala saw a maximum temperature of 33-degree Celsius while Arogyavaram recorded the least at 27.5-degree Celsius.
