Saina Nehwal shares Parineeti Chopra’s look from her biopic; says looking forward to watch the film

Ace Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal shared actress Parineeti Chopra's new look from her upcoming biopic ‘Saina’ on social media on Thursday. In her post, Saina called Parineeti her ‘lookalike’ and also stated that she is looking forward to watch the film.

Sharing Parineeti Chopra’s look from the film on her Instagram handle, Saina wrote, “My lookalike @parineetichopra .. u look lovely #sainamovie #lookingforward #sainabiopic”.

In the picture, Parineeti is sporting short hair and giving a determined look on the badminton court.

Before, Parineeti Chopra, actress Shraddha Kapoor was supposed to do the film and she even started her training for the film but after some time, she walked out of the film citing date issues. The shooting of the film started last year after Parineeti underwent intensive training to play the badminton player.

Saina Nehwal has won over 24 international titles, which includes eleven Superseries titles. In 2015, she was able to attain the world no. 1 ranking, thereby becoming the only female player from India and overall the second Indian player – after Prakash Padukone – to achieve this feat.

Saina has represented India three times in the Olympics, winning a bronze medal in her second appearance

The biopic is being directed by Amole Gupte and produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series.

Apart from ‘Saina’, Parineeti Chopra will be seen onscreen in Yash Raj Films productions ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ along with Arjun Kapoor and Ribhu Dasgupta’s mystery thriller film ‘The Girl on the Train’ along with Aditi Rao Hydari, Avinash Tiwary and Kirti Kulhari.
