After rocking the screen with her groovy moves in Basanti song from Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari, actress Karishma Tanna is all set woo the audience with her whole new avatar in forthcoming Lahore Confidential. The actress will be seen playing the role of a RAW Agent in the movie.
Talking about her upcoming movie, Karishma said, “Next, I am doing a web-movie titled Lahore Confidential with Richa Chaddha and Arunoday Singh. It will release on 11th December. And it is a worth watching movie. I am playing a RAW Agent, posted in Pakistan at the Indian High Commission”
The movie has been directed by Abhishek Sharma who is known for his social comedies and produced by Zee Studios.
Karishma Tanna recently featured in a special item song in forthcoming satire comic caper Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari. She featured along with Manoj Bajpayee in the song, which is shot in 90’s style and it is very subtle for an Item Number.
“I had a blast shooting the song. When I heard the song, I instantly found the song fun loving and I was excited for the fact that we got such a legendary song lyrics. Working with Manoj was an amazing experience, I know him personally and now I got the chance to work with him as well. I was very honoured” said Karishma about sharing the screen space with National Award Winning Actor.
Lahore Confidential is directed by Kunal Kohli, this gripping spy thriller revolves around RAW agent Ananya, who crosses path with a charming ISI agent.
The film will premiere soon on ZEE5.
