Mangaluru, Oct 28 (SocialNews.XYZ) Customs officials deployed at the Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) arrested a man on charge of smuggling gold after he alighted from a Dubai flight on Wednesday.
The Customs said 634 gm gold valued at Rs 32.96 lakh was seized from Abubakar Siddique.
The officials grew suspicious when they noticed Siddique's odd style of walking. "We got his body scanned and recovered the gold from him," an official statement said.
The MIA is 358 km from Bengaluru.
