A fan favourite franchise that will be released as a romantic drama cast is scheduled to start shooting in November 2020. Relationships will get tested and romance will take centre stage in the season two starring Ravi Dubey, Nia Sharma and Achint Kaur in pivotal roles, helmed by Aarambhh Singh.
Jamai Raja premiered for the first time in 2014 and ended after a successful 3 year run. The show was a fresh take for the time on men being at home. ZEE5 released a rebooted web series version of it named ‘Jamai 2.0’ in 2019, digital sequel of Jamai Raja and it had fans going gaga over the new plot and more glamorous look in the season one. Now, the makers are back with an even bigger plot twist in Season 2 of the romantic drama ‘Jamai 2.0 Season 2’ - a new glamorous avatar that will leave the viewers asking for more.
Ravi Dubey shares, “We have had a great response to the first season of ‘Jamai 2.0’ and the makers have decided to unravel the drama in the second season and stir the plot a bit. ‘Jamai 2.0 Season 2’ will be a romantic drama, served with twists that will challenge the narrative of the story. I am extremely excited to get back to the set and shoot with Nia and Achint, it’s like going back to family”
