Shahid Kapoor might have wrapped up Uttarakhand schedule for Jersey, but the actor’s cricket practice sessions continue. The Kabir Singh actor shared a video on Instagram where he can be seen perfecting his cricketing skills and hitting a straight drive.
The video is from the actor’s early morning practice sessions. Shahid, who is playing the role of a cricketer in his next film, has been spending quite a lot of time trying to get the batting skills right. Sharing the video on the gram, Shahid wrote, “Early mornings...wake up with drive.”
Shahid Kapoor has been sweating out on the fields for quite some time now for his role in Jersey. The actor is undergoing rigorous training for his part. He has been keeping his fans updated with pictures and videos of himself from the practice session.
As for the film, Jersey happens to be a remake of the Tamil movie of the same name featuring Nani and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles. Apart from Shahid and Mrunal, the sports drama will also feature Pankaj Kapur in a key role.
The movie is directed by Goutam Tinnanuri and produced by Dil Raju, Allu Aravind, and Aman Gill under Sri Venkateswara Creations and Geetha Arts. Due to corona-virus pandemic release date are still not finalized.
