Sanjay Dutt has conquered many hills in his time; recently he was diagnosed with Lung cancer. Now for the first time, Sadak 2 actor addresses his ailment and expresses his gratitude towards his fans.
Sanjay Dutt took to social media today to announce that he has recovered from his recent health scare, having battled lung cancer. He picked the occasion of his twins, Shahraan and Iqra's 10th birthday to share the happy news.
Sanjay Dutt dropped a statement on his Twitter profile, he captioned it, “My heart is filled with gratitude as I share this news with all of you today. Thank you”
The statement read, “The last few weeks were very difficult time for my family and me. But like they say, God gives the hardest battles to the strongest soldiers. And today, on the occasion of my kid’s birthday, I am happy to come out victorious from this battle and be able to give them the best gift I can- the health and well being of our family”
“This wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering faith and support from all of you. I am eternally grateful to my family, friends and all the fans who have stood by me and been my source of strength through this trying time. Thank you for the love, kindness and the countless blessings that you have sent my way” read the full note.
Back in August, Sanjay Dutt had announced on social media that he was taking a break from work for medical reasons. It was soon reported that the actor had been diagnosed with lung cancer and he underwent chemotherapy treatment at a hospital in Mumbai.
Meanwhile on the work front, Sanjay Dutt is busy with Shamshera, KGF: Chapter 2 and Bhuj - The Pride Of India.
