First Information Complaint (FIR) has been filed against Mithun Chakraborty’s son Mahaakshay aka Mimoh and wife Yogeeta Bali. They have been booked for rape, cheating and forcible abortion.
Mumbai Police have registered a case against actor Mahaakshay and the former’s actress Yogita Bali on a complaint of rape and cheating filed by a woman. The case was registered at Oshiwara police station on Thursday night based on the complaint lodged by the 38-year- old woman.
The victim has accused Mimoh of forcing her into a physical relationship on the pretext of marriage. She has even accused Mimoh’s mother of threatening and demanding her to drop the case.
As per reported, the complaint read, “In 2015, Mahaakshaya called the victim home and gave her a soft drink, and in the meantime, Mahakshaya made physical relations with the victim without any consents and later kept on pretending to marry. Mahakshaya alias Memo continued to have a physical relationship with the victim for 4 years and tormented her physically, mentally.”And not just that, the victim has even said that when she got pregnant, Mimoh had pressurized her to get an abortion.
Apparently, the victim had tried to file the case back in 2018 when Mimoh was about to married Madalsa. However, reportedly the police didn’t register her case. The victim later shifted to Delhi. There, she lodged a complaint against Mahaakshay and his mother Yogita Bali at Begumpur police station in June 2018, he added.
The police had registered an offence under section 376 (rape), 313 (causing miscarriage without woman’s consent) and others, and the probe was transferred to the crime branch there. A Delhi court later granted anticipatory bail to Mahaakshay and his mother in the case.
In March 2020, the Delhi High Court had asked the woman to file her complaint in the court, where the offence had taken place. Following that, she filed a complaint at Oshiwara police station in July this year.
An offence under IPC sections 376 (rape), 376 (2) (n) (repeated rape), 328 (causing hurt by means of poison), 417 (cheating), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 34 (common intention) has been registered against the Momoh.
Mahaakshay has featured in a few films like “Haunted 3D” and “Loot”.
