Thrissur, Oct 10 (SocialNews.XYZ) Twenty eight-year- old Nidhil, an accused in a murder case near here, was brutally murdered and State BJP President K. Surendran said this was done with the blessings of the CPI-M leaders.
"The deceased was a BJP worker and this is nothing but a well planned murder and State Minister for Local Self Government A.C. Moideen cannot wash his hands off it. The CPI-M has unleashed criminals in Thrissur district. The role of Moideen in this episode has to be looked into," said Surendran.
Nidhil, an accused in the murder of a person named Adarsh, was out on bail. On Saturday morning while he was travelling in a car, four persons came in another car and rammed it into Nidhil's vehicle.
As Nidhil's vehicle stopped after the crash, the attackers hacked him to death.
Nidhil along with a few others had allegedly killed Adarsh in July. After his arrest, he was out on bail when he was killed.
This is the third murder that the cultural capital of the state has witnessed in the past one week.
The first victim was a CPI-M grassroot leader Sanoop followed by the murder of POCSO accused Satish.
The local police have launched a manhunt for the four attackers who abandoned their vehicle after the incident and escaped.
