Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas is feeling proud to be a part of Viacom CBS Entertainment & Youth Group. Talking about her production house, Priyanka penned down a few lines about the mission of Purple Pebble Pictures. Along with it she also posted a picture of a star-studded array of high profile executive producers like Angela Bassett, Idris Elba, Salma Hayek, John Leguizamo, Eva Longoria, and Courtney B. Vance.
The Instagram feed of Priyanka read, “When I founded Purple Pebble Pictures our mission was clear, to create opportunities where there were few, and to tell global stories for global audiences irrespective of location and language, “said Chopra Jonas. “I am proud to say that we have remained true to that mission since the very first day, always prioritizing content over anything else. Not just the U.S., but the world is the melting point of different races, ethnicities, and religions, and the entertainment we consume should reflect the world we actually live in. I am proud to join Viacom CBS Entertainment & Youth Group on this initiative to not only tell diverse stories but to do so from diverse storytellers.”

In a coordinated effort for the ViacomCBS Entertainment & Youth Group First Time Directors program, a star-studded array of high-profile executive producer deals with Angela Bassett, Idris Elba, Salma Hayek, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, John Leguizamo, Eva Longoria and Courtney B. Vance and their respective production companies will produce 50 films across Paramount Network, MTV, Comedy Central and more ViacomCBS entities, for first time Black, Indigenous, persons of color and women filmmakers to tell diverse stories in their own voices. The goal is to provide opportunities for the next generation of filmmakers from marginalized groups.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka will be next seen in Bollywood film ‘The White Tiger’. It is reportedly based on a Man Booker prize-winning novel of the same name. The movie is going to be featured on Netflix and it also stars other talented Indian actors like Rajkummar Rao. Priyanka Chopra is all set to make her fans feel awed in this village drama.
The plot explains the story of a villager on a run to make his life better. However, her fans are eager to know about her upcoming Hollywood projects.
