Actor Abhishek Bachchan just took to his social media profile and dropped the stunning trailer of forthcoming show Crackdown, and wished the filmmaker Apoorva Lakhia making his digital debut.
Director Apoorva Lakhia is making his digital debut with the show, Crackdown, which is based on the working of intelligence agency RAW that tries to uncover a huge conspiracy threatening the national security of the country.
Abhishek Bachchan took to his social media and wrote, “A blockbuster in the form of a show! So proud to show you all the trailer of my friend #ApoorvaLakhia’s new show: #CrackdownOnVoot. The show features Rajesh Tailang, Saqib Saleem, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Iqbal Khan, Waluscha, Ankur Bhatia in prominent roles, the series will make its premiere on Voot Select on 23rd September.
Meanwhile on the work front, Abhishek Bachchna is busy with two massive projects, Bob Biswas and The Big Bull.
The Big Bull is a biographical crime film directed by Kookie Gulati and produced by Ajay Devgn, Anand Pandit and Vikrant Sharma , Kumar Mangat Pathak. The storyline is a retelling of stockbroker Harshad Mehta's life involving his financial crimes over a period 10 years, from 1980 to 1990. It stars Abhishek Bachchan as Mehta.
Bob Biswas is directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh. It is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and the film also stars Chitrangada Singh and Amar Upadhyay.
