Yadadri Bhongir: TDP President and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had a narrow escape when his convoy met with an accident on the Vijayawada-Hyderabad national highway on Sep 5, 2020. According to reports, the incident happened at Dandu Malkapur village of Choutuppal mandal in Yadadri Bhongir district of Telangana, when the escort car came to a sudden halt to avoid hitting a cow crossing the highway. As a result, the bulletproof car next to the convoy collided with the escort car from behind. Naidu was returning to Hyderabad from his Amaravati residence in the convoy as part of his week-end schedule when the accident took place. (Photo: IANS)
