Shutting all rumours down, Sushant Singh Rajput's former girlfriend and actor Ankita Lokhande took to her social media and shared her bank statements. Her post came after reports claimed that Sushant has been paying off her EMIs.
News was viral that a certain amount of money was deducted from SSR’s account against EMI of a flat in Malad, which belongs to Ankita Lokhande. Taking to her profile Lokhande shared copies of her bank statement from January 2019 to March 2020 along with papers of flat.
She captioned it, "Here I cease all the speculations. As transparent as I could be. My Flat's Registration as well as my Bank Statement's (01/01/19 to 01/03/20) highlighting the EMI's being deducted from my account on a monthly basis. There is nothing more I have to say"
Ankita's clarification came hours after a media report claimed that Sushant Singh Rajput was paying monthly instalments for a flat in Malad worth Rs 4.5 crore allegedly belonging to the actress.
Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioned the personal staff of Sushant Singh Rajput, including his domestic help, in connection with a money laundering case.
According to ED officials, the agency recorded the statements of Pankaj Dubey, Rajat Mewati and Dipesh Sawant under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002.
