​Akshay Kumar Highlights The Plight Of Vendors On Independence Day

Superstar Akshay Kumar celebrates 74th Independence Day with an important message for his fans. He took to his social media profile and shared a video message, which address the plight of roadside vendors and urge everyone offer a lending hand to ease the pain!

 

Akshay Kumar captioned the video, “We all know these people, we all have these people in our lives. On this #IndependenceDay, lets come together for them, lets come #Together4India.  JIsse Jitni Ho Sake Utni Madad Kijiye...Bas Najarandaz Mat Kijiye, share the way YOU care. Jai Hind”  

In the video, he talked about the plight of roadside vendors. He urged his fans to show empathy towards the poor and help those in need. He also stated how difficult it is for them because of the coronavirus lockdown and the rains. The actor recently made headlines as he donated Rs 1 crore to Bihar and Assam flood relief.

A few days back, the actor recently jetted off to the UK for his upcoming film 'Bell Bottom'. The movie also stars Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta, Vaani Kapoor among others.

Meanwhile on the work front, Akshay Kumar has an interesting line-up of release; he will be seen in Laxmmi Bomb, Sooryavanshi and Prithviraj.

Sooryavanshi is helmed by Rohit Shetty, it is the fourth instalment of Police Universe and features Akshay Kumar as the titular character opposite Katrina Kaif. The film co-stars Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Jackie Shroff, Sikandar Kher, Nikitin Dheer, Vivan Bhatena and Javed Jaffrey, while Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh reprise their roles of Singham and Simmba from the franchise's previous films.
