Filmmaker and producer Sajid Nadiadwala has announced the female lead of his upcoming film ‘Kick 2’. Jacqueline Fernandez, who also starred in the 2014 movie named ‘Kick’, will reunite with Salman Khan for the sequel as well.
The official Twitter handle of Nadiadwala Grandsons made the announcement on Tuesday, which also marked Jacqueline’s 35th birthday. “Too Much Fun @Asli_Jacqueline’s birthday, the wait ends as #SajidNadiadwala locked the script for #Kick2 this morning at 4 am. @WardaNadiadwala Thank you for the BIG News Smiling face with 3 heartsStar-struck #NGEFamily can’t wait to see @BeingSalmanKhan& Jacqueline start #Kick-in soon!,” the tweet read.
Sajid Nadiadwala’s wife Warda Khan S Nadiadwala also shared the news on her Instagram handle, sharing the picture of her husband, Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez, she wrote, “Here’s your BIRTHDAY GIFT from SN that will be remembered Forever! 💃🏻 @jacquelinef143 overjoyed to FORMALLY announce that #SajidNadiadwala locked the script at 4am this morning & has written an exceptional role for you !! ‘Kick’ was an action film in which Salman Khan played a masked thief called Devi Lal Singh (Devil), who is always looking for a ‘kick’ in his life. Jacqueline played a psychiatrist in the film which also starred Randeep Hooda, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mithun Chakraborty in pivotal roles.
For Jacqueline’s birthday, Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Anushka Sharma, Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, among many others extended sweet wishes on their social media handles.
JacquelineFernandez was living with Salman Khan at his Panvel farmhouse during the nationwide lockdown earlier. The duo even shot a music video during that period titled ‘Tere Bina’. Salman and Jacqueline have also worked together in the 2018 film ‘Race 3’. The actress was also a part of Salman Khan's ‘Dabangg Reloaded Tour’.
Apart from ‘Kick 2’, Jacqueline next will be seen onscreen in ‘Attack’ along with John Abraham and Rakul Preet Singh. On the other hand, Salman Khan next will be seen onscreen in ‘Radhe : Your Most Wanted Bhai’ and ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’.
