Film critic Anupama Chopra helmed Film Companion recently posted an article featuring a list of films of the last decade that shouldn’t have been made. This didn’t sit well with filmmaker Milap Zaveri, who point out the double standard of star-spangled film critic and her online shenanigans.
The official handle of film Companion shared the article, it said, “Here’s a list of #films of the last decade that shouldn't have been made”
The article features movies like Dilwale, Haunted 3D, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Heroine and Dhoom 3, which were incompetent on many levels and shouldn’t have been made.
Now this didn’t sit well Milap, who replied to this article, stating “Isn’t an article listing films that should never have been made a form of trolling too? Some of the mentioned films have been Box Office Blockbusters helping to run many homes of technicians, actors, distributors, exhibitors, spot boys etc. Why run anyone down? @anupamachopra”
Interestingly, recently Anupama Chopra and Film Companion posted an article, addressing the trolling on social media, especially Anupama getting bad treatment for liking Janhvi Kapoor starrer Gunjan Saxena’s trailer.
Anupama Chopra and her team, has run-down many films and often called out for favouring star kids.
Meanwhile on the work front, Milap Zaveri will soon return to sets of Satyameva Jayate 2, a sequel of the 2018 film Satyameva Jayate, the film stars John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar. The concept is based on the fight against injustice and misuse of power.
