Happening hero Vijay Deverakonda who is always up for the social cause, this time has come forward to felicitate Plasma donors. On Friday, the Cyberabad Police felicitated the Plasma donors at Commissionerate office and for this event, Vijay Deverakonda arrived as chief guest and even launched a campaign poster.
Commissioner of Police, Sajjannar hosted the event and addressing the media he said, “I appreciate the Plasma donors. Despite some misinterpretation on this, people are coming forward to donate Plasma. If one recovered patient donates 500 ML of Plasma, two Covid-19 patients can be saved. Today 120 people donated Plasma and so far 200 people were saved/got cured. Those who have done this are saviors and are equal to the almighty. It is our social responsibility to donate Plasma.”
Then it was the chief guest of the event, Vijay Deverakonda who addressed the gathering. “Last month, a couple of people whom I know were infected with Covid-19. They needed Plasma but they could not find donors. Earlier there was confusion on donating Plasma and for all those people, donate plasma.scsc.in will clear their doubts and misunderstandings. People who have recovered from Covid-19 should come forward and donate Plasma as we don’t know when would vaccine come out for public use. For now, the only weapon we have is Plasma. In case if I get Corona and recover, I would readily donate Plasma without any second thought,” said Vijay Deverakonda.
