Singer Smita said, "We all need to plant trees to provide oxygen to future generations."
Smita planted three saplings at her home in Kakatiya Hills in Madhapur today, accepting the Green India Challenge thrown by hero Allari Naresh and thanked Rajya Sabha member Joginapalli Santosh for not limiting the Green India Challenge to just one field and catering it to politics, cinema, sports and many more.
Later, Singer Smita called on leaders of various political parties and one from the film industry (Congress MLA Sitakka, TDP leaders Nara Lokesh, Union Home Minister Kishan Reddy, and film director Puri Jagannadh) to plant saplings.
The event was attended by Green India Challenge co-founder Raghava and others.
