CAG Report of Andhra Pradesh state Government accounts as of April 2020 shows that the state is in deep financial crisis

The state borrowed 29,418 crores for April and May of 2020.

As per the latest CAG report, Andhra Pradesh state government is heading towards a financial meltdown. The COVID_19 and freebies of the YSRCP party are taking a heavy toll on the state's finances.

Due to terrible financial irresponsibility, Sri Jagan Reddy's govt in Andhra Pradesh has borrowed 16,903.47 Crores in the first month (April 2020) of the financial year compared to the previous government which borrowed 2,411.81 Crores (April 2019). The total loans for April and May of 2020 are 29,418 crores.

 

The opposition and media are saying "Andhra Pradesh has become #AppulaPradesh (Debt Sub-region or Sub-country)". They are quoting the report that shows the
the government borrowed 16,706.05 Cr for 6 months (April, May, June, July, Aug, Sep 2019) while they borrowed 16,903.47 crores in the first month (April 2020).

They are complaining Jagan Reddy's "Borrow to feed own Vote banks for free" policy is pushing the state into a deep financial crisis
